A short, concise, and emotional way to tell the story of what University Recreation and Wellness offers students and the community. Told from the narrative of actual student employees, the objective was to provide real experiences that could connect potential users.
The video was just recently released so results aren’t conclusive. However, this was used as part of the department annual report and Student Fees Request presentation. The SSF committee was extremely pleased to see a new format and responded well to the funding request.
With a budget of only $3,000 and limited video production knowledge, RecWell project managers Mark Joekel and Tony Brown were able to identify a vendor, Wild Carrott Productions, to assist in the shooting, editing, and gathering audio. The RecWell marketing team was able to provide graphics and coordinate film schedule and interviews. The entire project took about 3 months.
